have a booth at pride!
Do you work with an agency that directly serves the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Burnaby or surrounding communities? Do you support the work being done in our community to recognize, welcome, and advocate for the LGBTQIA2S+ community members who live, work, and play in Burnaby? We invite you to show your support by hosting a booth at the Burnaby Pride Street Party! By attending as one of our community partners/vendors, you will have the opportunity to share resources and information on your organization’s programs, services, and/or initiatives; make connections with community members and other LGBTQIA2S+-serving agencies; and actively show your organization’s support for Pride in Burnaby, at the event and beyond.
If you’re interested in registering your organization to have a booth at the Burnaby Pride Street Party, please make sure to read the below considerations and expectations from our community partners and vendors.

CONDITIONS & CONSIDERATIONS FOR VENDORS AT BURNABY PRIDE
In order to maintain the integrity of the Burnaby Pride Street Party, and to ensure that all activities and partners align with the values of the Burnaby Pride Working Group and Pride Community Advisory Network (PCAN), there are some specific requests that we ask all vendors to consider when coordinating their presence at the Burnaby Pride Street Party.
PRIORITY to LGBTQ2S+ services!
Priority will be given to organizations that provide direct service to the LGBTQ2S+ community, with a specific focus on those with LGBTQ2S+-focused programs and services.
CONSIDER YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT!
In an effort to reduce our environmental impact, we strongly urge that all vendors do their best to reduce single-use plastics and other unnecessary environmental waste. When considering swag items and other giveaways, we encourage that organizations evaluate their environmental impact and, where possible, find innovative, less-wasteful alternatives to promote their organization. If your situation allows, try replacing branded water bottles with seed paper postcards! Give a frisbee a toss in favour of a reusable silicone food bag or reusable straw! Can you print your logo on compostable packaging? We’re encouraging creativity! It may be inconvenient and challenging, but we can’t fight for social change by ignoring environmental justice. We appreciate any and all efforts made to reduce our environmental impact at this event.
sign up for ALL OR NOTHING!
Well, ‘all or nothing’ may be a bit dramatic, but we do ask that vendors please do their best to complete their booth setup by 11:45am, and stay for the entire duration of the event, until clean-up begins at 4:15pm. We understand that extenuating circumstances may affect this, but we ask that, in your planning, you account for staffing for the duration of the event.
