Burnaby Pride follows the recommendations of the Fraser Health Authority. Our pride celebration is outdoors in a park. Mask wearing is optional\, but encouraged in group settings. We also encourage our attendees to take the necessary precautions for their safety and we’ll have sanitation stations and masks onsite available for those that need them. \nIf you would like to use a mask or hand sanitizer\, please visit the Burnaby Pride Table at the event. \nIf you have questions please contact coordinator@burnabypride.com. \n** Burnaby Pride holds our meetings and events on the unceded and traditional territories of the sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Hul’q’umi’num’ / Halq’eméylem / hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking people. We recognize that this acknowledgement is a tiny piece in the larger context of the ongoing work that must be done to challenge the legacies of colonialism and create palpable disruptive change and true reconciliation.
